CHAMPIONS

Part 1

Written by: A1 Steak Sauce

CHAPTER 1- "Fever Man"

"WhAT SHOuLd i dOoOoo?" blurred a man as he fell down a hole. It was a large hole. So black. Ever so black. He kept falling and falling into the hole, with no end at sight. His screams seemed to make no sound. He felt like he was falling, only something was wrong. He was falling upwards. He could hear a mad cackling in the back of his mind. It was the cackle of a lunatic. He wanted to shut him up.
He did not know how he had gotten in this hole, nor why he smelled like lime popsicles. He didn't know why his butt felt like it was a tail or why his forehead felt like it was ready to implode. He heard a song begin to play. It was "Walk this Way" by Areosmith. He loved this song. Wait...no. That's not right! "I fuckin' hate Areosmith," the man screamed. "WHERE Am iiIiiiiiiiiiii??"

Suddenly he hit his head and the mad cackling of a lunatic gone insane got louder. So loud he screamed a sound that would have made the sanest man sick. He broke his hand, but he did not touch anything. "I HaVve tO gEt OUt oF tHis BrIGht PiNK rHoom!" the man thought aloud. "I hate pink. Pink. Rink. Dink. Wink. Sink. Mink! You're too late!" the man said in an insane poem. "Have TO EsCaPE the HorROR! THeRe is a Message WRitTen upOn the walL. FIND IT! FIIIIINNNND IT!!!!" the man thought he heard. Then he got dizzy and fell down. He laughed until he cried. He ate dirt under the night sky. The shed door creaked and then he fell into the Danger Room. It was there he spoke to Beast. He ran through words, and his favorie nursery ryhme. All the while the sweat poured down his beat red face. His cheeks burned red, and so did his ears. He wanted to die, but he didn't know how. He collpased first face on the couch pillow and it was there he died that night. His mother found him in the morning. The doctors figured he had gone crazy due to his fever. It was reported at 109 degrees farenheit at his time of death. He was 34.

CHAPTER 2- "Real Ice Man"

The cold sensation grew until his arm froze over. His eyelids went blue and his heart started racing. He spat out chunks of ice from his mouth. His hair turned blue and his forehead was itchy. He scratched and scratched at his forehead until the skin went away and all that was left was ice. His chest writhed in pain and his legs went to ice. His feet which were already frost bitten, but now they have turned to solid ice. His fingers also changed to ice.
The pain in his chest grew until he fell to the sidewalk. It was 33 degrees out, but this poor man must have been -236 below. His stomach froze over and went numb. His back turned to ice and his stomach followed suit. His lips went a dark blue and his teeth yellow. When his breath came out, it was mist. His "Napolean Dynamite" shirt ripped right off and so did his nice fabric pants. He quacked on his knees and his eyes started to peel. They changed. They were yellow. He screamed out snow. People dropped their gifts and ran to help the man, but he was too cold to touch.
"HELP ME!" the man screamed in complete pain and desperation. "GOD PLEASE! Gotta FIND THE MESSAGE! IT'S ANSWER IS THE KEY. Survival is the key. The key is survival. The plankies are coming. There is NO defense! Don't you see? No end. No stop. No hope. HELP ME! PLEASE!" the man of ice screamed as he froze to the sidewalk like a statue. His head was cocked to the sky, his mouth open, and arms out stretched. In a pleading to the sky. To the gods. There was 1 tear frozen forever on his his left cheek.

CHAPTER 3- "The Fastest Woman Alive"

She drank another pitcher of lemonade. She sat on her grandmother's old lawn chair in the back porch of her Texas ranch. She gazed upon the cactuses in the distance of the seemingly never ending desert. In the distance she could see the purple mountains. The sweat drained down her face right into her chest and below. She rubbed her upper lip. God it was hot today. She lost herself in her thoughts for a minute or so and when she opened her eyes she was running through the desert at a speed that surely couldn't be attained by a car.
How is this possible she thought? How? She tried to stop running but found she couldn't. The world was a blur in which she had never saw before. She could still make out the other farms and cattle, even at this speed. It was late in the day, probaly around 4. She was starting to grow tired, but still she would not slow down no matter how hard she tried. How is this happening? She could not fathom the answer. The sweat kept coming and she was getting short on breath. She closed her eyes again and she saw a message in her mind. It read something like, although it was tough to tell because they were moving so fast, this:

Read the message protangists, and save the damned leigions of thee people from them. The Planktomists are coming. They are leeches. They want life. Survive. Key=Survival. Survival=Key. ?=?

When she opened her eyes she stumbled ever so slightly and fell on her stomach, before skidding to a stop with a mouthful of sand stuck in her mouth. Her 45 year old wrinkles were filled with sweat. Her blond hair stuck to her head. She got up slowly and looked around in confusion. She was far away from any farm. That much she knew. She knew she had to get home. She had to get to the old well in back. She had hidden all her money in there for emergencies. She had to get to Chicago now. She turned around and screamed at what she saw coming at her from the sky. It was a giant black hawk and it's talons were raised to kill. She was caught in it's sight.

CHAPTER 4- "Flying Man"

The air felt so good on his face. He whisked through the air towards his destination. The big tower was looming a few miles ahead yet. The air whooshed as he sailed through it faster and faster. His black hair gleamed in the hazey sun and his tie blew behind him like some strange tail. He loved flying so much. It was the only time he didn't feel like commiting suicide. He felst so free up here. He'd never fly in a plane again. He passed a bird and he peered down at all the minature people below. He smiled and laughed again and again.
He saw the familar message yesterday. Survival is the key. The key grows where the shade parts. He zipped and zagged in a pretty straight path. He had to get back to his cubicle. Lunch break was over 30 minutes ago. He flew right through the window of the 66th floor without being spotted. When he was on solid ground again, he brushed his hair back and straightened his tie. He walked back to his cubicle and turned on his computer. Just as it started to hum to life, it blew up in his face, and his head fell on the desk still without any motion.

CHAPTER 5- "Codename: Flamethrower"

"Survival is the key. It will make sense. Eventually." A japanese man sat at his kitchen table eating froot loops, while pondering if the strange message he'd saw last night would ever make sense or not. He lit his hand on fire again, then turned it off again. He'd discovered his fire powers 1 week ago and couldn't get enough of them ever since. 3 nights ago, he'd made half of his body light up and that had been pretty cool.
As a child, he'd always fantasized about being a super hero, so naturally he already came up with a name fro himself. Flamethrower. He liked it. He knew he was a geek, but he didn't care. After all he did live in the city where all the heroes seemed to come from: New York. His little apartment was in the heart of the city, and some nights he'd just lay in bed, hoping to hear a scream in the alley below, so he could try out his abilities. He didn't have much fighting experience, but with his new found powers he thought that would be more than enough.
He finished his cereal, washed his bowl in the sink, and left the building. He wanted to go to the mall and pick up a new game today. He got in his car, turned on the ignition, and suddenly the engine blew up. The whole car instantly went up, and that was the end of that one. Smoke came off the top, and inside fire reaged all around the poor man's already blackened body.

Elsewhere in New Mexico...
A lightning storm is raging above the night sky. Thirty people have been killed at a small camp due to it's brutality. This type of storm is rare. Especially since it seemed to start with no warning, and wouldn't show up on any weather satelites. One man stands in the middle of all the fatalities. His only alias is "Plank"...

CHAPTER 6- "I can read your mind"

BZZT! BZZT! "Ah shit!" A kid with black hair hanging in his eyes crawled out of bed and grabbed some clothes that were in piles on his bedroom floor. He slipped on a Carolina Panthers jersey, some baggy pans, and some silver chains to put around his neck. He grabbed two socks that were hanging off of his Green Day and My Chemical Romance posters. He shut off his alarm that was still blaring on his nightstand. He grabbed some hair gel and put some in his black hair. He looked in the mirror briefly, then ran downstairs and grabbed a cold pop tart. He ate it in 2 bites, grabbed his backpack and was out the front door before his mother even knew he was gone.
He half walked, half jogged to school, all the while listening to his i-pod as he did every morning. He passed a few guys he knew and they shouted "Hey Seth!" He walked for another 5 blocks until he saw his high school and then he slowed down and went in. He walked through the mobs of kids struggling to get to all their classes in time. He passed fighting kids, paper airplanes, laughing, making out, and all the rest of high school drama. Seth struggled with all his heavy textbooks as he walked to the other end of the school. When he finally reached his locker, he put them in his locker, locked it up, grabbed his Biology book, and headed for class.
On the way he ran into a fist. He was knocked down in the middle of the hallway and all the kids observing started getting excited and talked rapidly. Standing in front of Seth was John Paul Smith, the big shot quarterback of the school's football team. Seth knew this was coming. John, or JPS as he liked to be called, was mad at Seth for turning down he team. They desperately needed a running back and everyone in the team knew Seth was the fastest. But Seth hated football, he enjoyed track much more. Now John had to show him up so his reputation wouldn't go down. John was considered an elite quarterback, with a bright NFL future. He got 5 ladies at a time, and his parties were said to be of the highest class. Seth wouldn't know anything about that. He never got invited to many parties.
"Get up Mortimeir!" John said with a kick to his stomach. "C'mon!" Seth rose slowly, not bothering to pick up his Biology book. A small circle of kids gathered around to watch the fight with glazed interest. John wasted no time and took a slug at Seth. Seth dodged and kicked John in the knee. Seth wavered but did not fall. He came back with a nasty left hook right to Seth's throat. Seth was helpless now, and he sustained a series of punches to his face now. Seth went down quickly, and then he suffered kick after kick from the heroic quarterback JPS. "Should've tried a little harder huh Seth? You're just a little fag, isn't that right?" He finished his taunts with one big boot to the face and then he left Seth lay there in defeat. He'd won, and the whole school would know it. Another victory for the NFL star.
Seth managed to get up with no help. He wiped away spots of blood and took a glance at Sandra. He knew it was a mistake. She wouldn't even look at Seth. She must have thought Seth was a jellyfish now. Seth sighed and walked away. But then to his surprise Sandra said to him "Boy are you a baby. Can't even beat up a quarterback? Going on another date with him. He is sooo fine. So muscular. Real man. Unlike Seth."
"You know Sandra, you can stop talking about me like I'm not here, hearing everything you say to me," Seth turned around and informed her.
Sandra just stared at him with a blank expression.
"Excuse me?" she asked.
"You. Saying I'm a baby and can't beat him up. And about how fine he is. Please. Save it," Seth replied.
"What the hell are you talking about you freak? Have you read my diary entry from today? HOW DARE YOU!" Sandra yelled and walked away in a frenzy.
What the hell? Seth wondered what she meant. He had heard her say all those things to him just now. She must be going looney, Seth thought with a sigh. He continued to walk to Biology Class. On the way he met up with his friend Scott. Just as Seth was about to go over and talk to him, he heard him say something that made him snap. Scott said
"Hey you talk in your sleep Seth. I was in your sister's room last night. Boy is she great. I'm gonna be an alcoholic and live off of her someday. So nice. So desperate."
Seth ran at Scott and laid him out with his Biology book. He cracked his head open, and Scott was rushed to the Emergency room instantly. Seth got two week suspension.

CHAPTER 7- HOSPITAL

Lying in a bed Mark opens his eyes to discover he is in a hospital room. Hospital in NYC. He slowly remembers how he got here. He took a flight and then his computer blew up in his face. He blacked out and came back briefly in the ambulance. He slowly felt his face. No bandages. It felt smooth to him, like it usually does. He picked up a mirror and looked. No scars or marks. He looked normal. He let out a long sigh of relief. Just then a nurse came in. She looked kind of surprised to see him up. But still she continued to approach his bed. She gave him a glass of water and told him to drink it. He did so and then she said that he would be just fine, that the computer did no damage to him. She also informed him he could go now if he felt strong enough. He did and he was soon out on the streets again. He took a breathe of fresh air and started walking through the crowds of people. He looked around and he saw someone he knew. The person he knew also saw him. Mark looked scared and then started to run.
The other figure took off after him pushing people out of his way as he did. This person was dressed in black. He had a top hat in, blocking out his face in shadows. Mark made it halfway up the block, then he ducked into a small clothes store. This did not fool the other man, as he ran into the same store and dragged Mark out. He continued to drag him on the sidewalk and none of the New Yorkers bothered to help him. He got Mark into an alley and then he slapped him on the face. He told him to be quiet and they must give thanks to their lord. Mark said in fear "He's your master, not mine."
"You are wrong. He will be made yours too," said the mysterious dark man. "We must give thanks to him now."
"No, I won't. I reject him," Mark stated with a little more confidence, but some doubt.
"Where do you think these powers have come from? From God? No! He enjoys watching our helpless struggles. Has since the beginning of time. Famines. Murders. The Great Flood. He tortures which he creates. He is a bully. A glorified bully that demands to be worshipped. But not the great one. He gives us powers. That we might make the world as we see fit and give him the power to rise so he may have dominion over us," the dark man spoke.
"You are crazy Darthos. We went to school together. You were never like this. You were an educated man. A man with a real future. Please do not delve into this madness," Mark reasoned.
"Madness? This is surely not madness. It is the truth. The greatest of all the truths. Now sit Markus. Give thanks to the great one. Give thanks to the one who bestows these gifts on to us! Give thanks to Satan!"
Mark got up ran past Darthos until he reached a dead end brick wall. Darthos walked over to him. "You cannot escape the truth. It flows through your body like blood. Makes you strong. Satan is the lord! Hallelujah!"
Mark flew up and over the alley, and whisked away in a few seconds, never once turning back

CHAPTER 8- One with Fire

The fire trucks poured water onto the flaming car. They were putting it out as fast as they could. They knew there was no hop of anyone surviving that. When it was out, the sun was almost setting. A firefighter reached in and pulled out a man. Shockingly the man was not blackened and burned. You could still make out all his facial features and his hair was still in tact. He was Japanese the firefighter reported. Probably about 27. To the shock of the firefighter, the man woke up and coughed. The firefighter did nothing at first. He just froze there in shock. He was absolutely sure he saw thick flames in the front seat. He was sure nothing could have survived that fire. The man got up by himself and stumbled a few steps. A couple of firefighters had to hold him back so he wouldn't run away. But the man was not being cooperative.
"H-h-have to get to A-laska. Vision. Vivid. Need-to-get-to-ice-m-man. He need-s m-my help," the man gasped as he ran away from the firefighters. The firefighters grabbed him and tried to drag him to an ambulance. But the man wouldn't let them. He was determined to save the iceman. "Save the ice man and the key's path will become known. I can see it. I know it," the man said. He kept getting pulled back every step he took, and this was slowing down his mission too much. So with a little effort he lit himself on fire below the neck. All the firefighters' hands shot back just as quickly as they'd touched him. They gasped in shock and one of them ran to get an extinguisher. Before he could hose him down, the man took off as fast as he could. He ran until he was safely away from the firefighters and civilians, and then he flamed off. He wanted to rest, but he had to rescue the iceman. So he waved down a taxi after he found some ratty clothes in the alley, and told the man he needed to get to the airport now. Off they went, The Flamethrower was on his first mission. The quest to save the world was on.

CHAPTER 9- Mothers

“What is your problem? Scott? You best friend since the second grade. You just walk up to him, smack him, and make him bleed? Why on earth would you go and do something like that? You’re too good of a boy to do that. You’re too smart to put someone in a hospital. Too caring. What did he do that called for that kind of action? Tell me Seth! I need to know! NOW,” Seth’s mother yelled at the kitchen table to Seth who hadn’t said a word since the incident. “Stop ignoring me Seth! Tell me now! Right this instant!” Seth looked down without saying a thing. “THAT IS IT! Go to your room and don’t bother coming out until you are ready to explain what you did,” his mother ordered. Seth grabbed his backpack and went to his room without a word of any kind. During the whole time his mom was yelling, he heard her say other things too. Things he didn’t think she had said. Private things. And poor little Seth was scared. Because all day he had heard things that he was pretty sure he wasn’t supposed to hear. He didn’t know what was going on, but he did not like it.

A woman continues to weep over a grave. It’s the grave of George Blocka. Her son. Her 32 year old son. Her son who hadn’t had a date in 5 years. Her son who lived alone in a little house on Brain street. The funeral was held over two hours ago. It was a short service. Nobody knew a lot to say about George. He always kept to himself. He died of a nasty fever. The doctors figured he was already in another world when he died. He probably hallucinated all night long and was sicker than he’d ever been in his life. Neighbors thought he was having an argument with his girlfriend, he was shouting so loud. They didn’t know George at all. They didn’t know he was a hopeless romantic without any friends. But his mother did. And now here she was. Crying over her son’s grave. Crying over her little boy. The fever boy.

Somewhere a phone rang. No one was there to answer it. But the answering machine picked up the message. It was a lady in her 60’s. “Alice? How ya holding up? I was just calling to tell you, I’d like it of you could take some time off from your ranch down in Texas and come visit me again soon. It’s lonely here in Chicago. Yeah I know how ridiculous it sounds. 6 Million people in one old city and none of them have any interesting to say. Well give me a call when ya get this sweetheart. I love you Alice.” Click. And Alice’s lonely little house is really lonely tonight. Dinner should be sitting piping hot on the table right now. But instead Alice is in danger. She’s in danger over 10 miles away from her home.

CHAPTER 10- Alice and the Hawk

Alice ducked to the left just as the hawk’s talons swooped down low for the kill. The hawk quickly turned around and made a second attempt. Alice ducked to the left again, this time just barely missing by an inch. She stopped long enough to wonder why this hawk had gone so feral. What was causing it this great blood lust? A clap of thunder was heard in the distance and the hawk let out a fierce battle squawk as it came charging at her chest this time. Alice rolled to the right, dodging in plenty of time. She knew she couldn’t keep this up forever though. She looked around for a moment and saw a black robbed and hooded man standing maybe 10 feet away from her and the hawk. He was just standing there watching. His eyes or face were not visible. He looked menancing standing there. He looked evil.
The hawk came up behind Alice but she ran forward making the hawk miss in another of it’s swoops. She ran quickly and tackled the black hooded man to the sand. She saw hints of his eyes. They were red. He pushed her off of him and stood up. He motioned for the hawk to swoop at her again, and so the hawk did. Alice rolled frantically to the left, but not enough as the hawk snagged her leg a little. She yelled out in pain, as blood trickled into her pants and down her leg. The man motioned for another attack. This time when the hawk got close to Alice she kicked it in the body. It fell and then took flight again. The man yelled “ATTACK,” and the hawk came down at Alice yet again. This time she kicked it again, and that seemed to scare it off as it flew into the distance as another thunder clap was heard. Alice got up and ran from the man before he could make a move on her. The man put out his hand in a stop signal and she stopped. She tried to run but found she was helpless. That man had some kind of strange power over her, she knew. And not like regular male power. This was somehow more threatening. This man was more evil. He slowly walked over to her and said, “You have great powers, but you refuse to honor the source. You refuse to give thanks to Satan.”
“Are you crazy?” Alice managed to ask as she fought for control of herself again. She still could not move and she was getting more and more certain this man was going to murder her here. “Give thanks to Satan” the man said as he raised his hands. As he raised his hands thunder boomed and rain started pouring down in buckets. Alice’s sticky hot hair, stuck to her neck and forehead from the wetness. The robed man put his hand on her neck and pulled out a knife. “You are not one of the “Plankies”. You must die. You have light inside of you. Godly light. You must be prepared as a sacrifice to Satan. You are lucky. You will dine with the great one tonight,” the strange man said as he raised the knife.
Suddenly thunder boomed louder and Alice moved her legs. She zipped through the desert faster than she had come the first time. She headed for home. She did not know how she knew, but she knew she was in the right direction. She could feel it as she ran through the pouring rain. She turned her head back slightly but she could not see much. And she certainly couldn’t tell if that man was still there, waiting to kill her. She wasn’t about to find out either. Right now the only thing on her mind was getting home, fetching her money, and getting a plane to Chicago. Her mother and her could figure out what was going on together. Neither one was very smart alone, but when they put their minds together there was nothing they couldn’t accomplish. Something her mother was very fond of saying.
She reached her ranch in record time, and quickly ran around back to the old well. It would not be easy to get the money in this pouring rain, but Alice had already decided she would not stay here another night. She went in the well and came back with a wad of dry cash. She ran inside and locked the doors. She quickly went upstairs and packed. When she was finished she played her mother’s warm message. She could not agree more with her mother. She needed to get to Chicago. The thunder boomed louder outside. She dragged her money and luggage out to her old pick up truck and drove off, never once looking back. If she had maybe she would have seen the black clothed man waiting for her upstairs in her bedroom.

CHAPTER 11- Mind Kid runs away

Poor Seth was upstairs locked in his room, crying on his bed. He could hear all the nasty things his mother was saying about him downstairs. He could read her thoughts. And he could not control this. He could not choose not to see what she was saying. He was so helpless. He was only seventeen. He was a freak at 17. And when his dad got home he’d be in even deeper shit. He knew what he had to do. He had to get out of this house. He needed help. He was going crazy and his parents would never understand. He packed some clothes and his i-pod and he quietly sneaked out the front door. It wasn’t too bad out. They lived in the outskirts of St. Louis and it wasn’t cold in May. Seth ran down the street. He needed to get into town. There he could find a bus. He wanted to get into the city. There he could find a bench to sleep on.
He found the bus stop downtown and waited patiently there. Some old lady was waiting by him. He read her thoughts without even knowing him. He saw her whole depressing life flash before his eyes and he felt like crying. After waiting 20 minutes the old lady left. She was tired and e read her mind. She needed her pills and couldn’t wait any longer. Seth sat there another 3 hours. No bus ever came and now it was getting pitch black out. And chilly. It was getting chilly out. He was starting to get hungry too. Seth started to think this wasn’t such a great idea after all. As he started walking away two hooded black kids stepped out of the bushes and grabbed him. Seth screamed when he read their minds. He saw blood. Organs. Intestines. A whole shed of dead bodies. A tool shed in the backyard of JPS.He saw at least 20 kids dressed in black there slaughtering animals. Even small children. Seth threw up as the two dragged him towards JPS’s house. He was going to participate in the rituals tonight. JPS demanded it.

CHAPTER 12- Nightmares

Mark Greenkong made it home all right. He collapsed on his sofa. He’d most narrowly escaped one of the biggest lunatics he knew. He’d gone to school with Dathos and he witnessed him change first hand. He used to be a regular kid with regular hobbies. But then he claimed to develop abilities that rivaled God himself. And he said it was because of his new found faith in Satan. He started listening to dark music and starting writing black poems about death and sacrifices. Mark thought it was just a gothic phase. But then one day Darthos told Mark in confidence about how Satan allowed him to rape a girl they went to school with. He told him how much fun it was. Mark started to understand how insane Darthos really was. And although he’d never saw Darthos exhibit any powers he never doubted that possibility. And then after all thsese years he thought he’d lost Darthos. And just when he is in a state of depression and he’s discovered he can fly, Darthos comes back and tries to get him to worship with him.
Mark closes his eyes and drifts off to the dream world. Only he’s not having a dream. It’s a nightmare. A Familiar one that will haunt him for the rest of his life. He thinks back to 13 years ago. On the night when they had commited that horrible satanic ritual together. He’ll never stop remembering it. His screams echo back through the night. What he sees recounted before his eyes horrifies him all over again. These nightmares were bad. They were bad because what he saw did happen. He wakes up in a cold sweat and the thought of suicide comes and then quickly goes. He grabs a bottle of water and then goes to bed hoping Darthos does not discover where he lives. And he tries not to dwell upon that awful night so long ago. Tries to wipe the evil memory.

CHAPTER 13- Destinies on planes

The human flamethrower sits back in his first class seat. Paul waves down a flight attendant and asks for a drink. She gladly gets him one. He sits back and thinks about what he has to do. He has to get to a small town in Alaska called “Junepear”. There he has to unfreeze a guy. Some dude named Jake Snuka. This is his destiny. It’s one of the keys to unlocking the path to the person that can save them all. Save the world. He wonders for a moment if this is what it feels like to be a hero. Then he closes his eyes and prepares for a long flight. A flight to his destiny.

Alice is also on a plane. This plane is heading for Chicago. She doesn’t know it, but she too is heading for her destiny. It is a destiny she may not be prepared for, but one she will come out a much stronger woman. She’s going to see her mother. But in the end the trip will hold much more meaning than that.

On yet another plane a bald man looks out a window. Without anyone noticing the man changes into a gorilla. Then to a lady that looks like Jennifer Aniston. Then back to the bald man. Whatever this is, it smiles. It loves using it’s powers.

On another flight there is a whole group of 35 men on board. They are all wearing black robes and hoods. The flight attendants are under the impression they are all members of an exclusive church. What church they have no idea. There has been a lot of turbulence on this flight. And this was unexpected by the pilot. They didn’t expect to run into all of these strange thunderstorms. These men are on their way to something big. A big meeting in New Mexico. A meeting that will be the basis for a war. A war on the world. This war is the signaling of the second coming of their lord, Satan. The world is coming to an end. It will be re done be Satan. One black hooded man in back says two words and all the others nod in agreement. The words spoken were “Praise Satan!”

I've already started work on issue 3, so I'm thinking maybe this weekend will be the release date. It's coming together good. When I'm done with Season 1 it's gonna be a huge epic. I hope it's good too. Oh the good news is I thought of a tagline:

Heaven vs. Hell. Satan has dominion over the earth. But not fully. A few will rise to power. These people will be... CHAMPIONS.
